Another woman’s story

The story is about Kayal, a single mother who lives in a slum and struggles for her daily bread and butter. Her work is to remove leaves as cleaning servant on events. As usual she comes for a work in a birthday event in a community hall near her slum. She arrives late and as the birthday event is processed she admires the Birthday babies who are well dressed, ornament in gold. She admires them and totally forgets about her work, gets scolded. As events pass by she comes to know about the shortage of food and fears she would not get food to take home for her child.

At the Beginning of the End

The documentary At the Beginning of the End opens up the topics of old age, love, and death. It offers the viewer a wide spectrum of knowing the relationship between mother and daughter in the final phase of their existence. It examines the lives of women, their unusual position in society, and at the same time reflects the life of an ordinary person against the background of the eastern Slovak village of Milhostov.
After the Wedding

A portrait of the relationship of toy collectors Ľuba and Janka, who after twelve years of cohabitation found themselves facing a life event - a wedding. The approaching commitment forces them to re-evaluate their lives and thus several "misunderstandings" about the future functioning of their relationship and household surface.

The 30min cinema verite documentary is about climate activists that occupied several construction sites in Vienna, Austria for almost a year to stop the construction of two highways, crossing the nature reserve Lobau.
The documentary gives an unfiltered view on how the daily life of an activist looks like and what few individuals can achieve in an extreme situation like an occupation.

Boundaries (Simayein)

This film looks at the 3 decade old issue of arrest of Indian and Pakistani fishermen for crossing the maritime boundaries of each other. Over the years the number of arrests have increased and it reflects the relations between the nations at any given point of time. The fish-workers are released as good-will gestures and kept back due to bureaucratic hurdles. This documentary attempts to raise some questions - What are the reasons for this situation ? What are the attempts at resolutions? What do the fish-workers and their families loose ?
