Those, revealed on the walls, in a touch
Dir: Anand P Chandran; 28:00 min; Doc; India
A short documentary capturing the heartfelt journey of a grandson returning home to visit his aging grandmother, who had broken into tears during a phone call longing to see him. The film unfolds as an intimate homecoming, where the camera becomes a quiet observer of the emotional reconnection between the two generations. Through shared meals, everyday conversations, and moments of silence, the grandson begins to rediscover his roots.
One Foot In Front Of The Other
Dir: Basav Biradar; 01:01:46 min; Doc; India
Four runners decide to run from Bengaluru to Chennai along the highway. The run is not an organised race event, nor is there a material reward at the end of it. The filmmaker follows the runners with his camera to understand their motivations, the physical and mental training, and their friendship.

Punishing the Professor
Dir : Aayna; 28 min; Doc; India
P. Senrayaperumal was forced to drop out of school to play his part in the caste-bound genre of Raja Rani Attam theatre. He and his brothers spent their childhood playing female roles — enduring slurs, sexual harassment, and bearing the burden of tradition. At age 23, he made a desperate gamble to reclaim education all by himself, even while dancing through nights to survive. He did earn the education that he was systemically denied. He got a PhD on the folk tradition he had been practising, all the while holding on to the promise of higher education in the country. A promise that, in his case, was tragically short-lived.
Land of Dreams
Dir: Ambarien Alqadar; 40:00 min; Doc; United States
Filmed for nearly a decade, Land of Dreams is an intimate portrait of Virender Rana, a taxi driver from India, chasing his dream of telling his story in America. While he points the camera at his own life and films a Bollywood style movie, the film follows his journey of coming to America, finding joy as part of a larger Sikh community and that of taxi drivers andlaying roots as an immigrant.
Umbro, the threshold of a home, is the liminal space that speaks to the lives of women, including the filmmaker's mother and her friends who live in the small town of Dhrangadhra in central Gujarat, India. The film explores joyful friendships among women, routinely dismissed and unsung - carrying in them moments of shared stories, solidarities, conflicts and, most of all, routine acts of resistance. Umbro attempts to locate these flights of desire in the everyday, while celebrating the women’s indomitable love for life, and each other.
Amma's Pride
Dir : Shiva Krish; 21 min; Doc; India
Amma's Pride chronicles Valli's trials and tribulations as she watches her trans daughter Srija fall in love, marry, and fight for state and societal recognition of her marriage in a traditional small town in Tamil Nadu. When societal pressures push Srija’s marriage to the edge, Valli clings to the hope of a miracle.
5 pm
Encountering Hate
Dir: Lalit Vachani; 48:00 min; Doc; Germany, India
Revolving around three case studies of hate crime in North India, the film follows human rights lawyer Akram Akhtar Choudhary as he provides legal help to his clients - victims of mob lynchings, vigilante violence and police encounter killings.
Dalit Subbaiah
Dir : Gridharan MKP; 85 min; Doc; India
Dalit Subbaiah - Voice of the Rebels is an intimate and powerful documentary tracing the life, struggles, and uncompromising spirit of Dalit Subbaiah — a fearless revolutionary artist, writer, and activist who dared to stand against oppression and caste injustice by his powerful tool of music.
